Green Day "American Idiot" Become Hot Trend Musical

Green Day "American Idiot" Become Hot Trend Musical on Hot Topics -- Still remember American Idiot??? Or still remember Green Day?? Yeah, American Idiot is the once of Green day song's. Green Day's 2004 concept album American Idiot, which has long been rumored to be on its way to becoming a stage production, has finally been turned into a full-blown musical production.

It's not your ordinary run-of-the-mill musical, either. The entire concept of Green Day's album was based on the zeitgeist of 2004 — Americans were confused about the post-9/11 climate of the country and young people felt more disaffected and out of touch than ever despite how plugged in everyone thought they were because of the dawn of the Internet and smartphone era.

Today, On hot trends Internet in Google said Green Day "American Idiot" Become Hot Trend Musical. How about your perception??

America's Best Dance Crew "ABDC" season 5

America's Best Dance Crew "ABDC" season 5 on Hot Topics -- This week on the premiere of America’s Best Dance Crew, Lil’ Mama and JC Chasez are back joined by the new judge Omarion along with host Mario Lopez.

Things are a tiny different this season; this episode is the first of two regional episodes. Fifteen crews were flown in to New york: two from the South, two from the East, and two from the West.

Ghost from New york is up second to represent for the dirty South. JC Chasez appreciated the amount of levels they used but said it was a tiny slow of a performance. Omarion felt like he's seen what they were doing before and suggested they “push it.” Lil’ Mama said they require to take their process to the next level.

The South is up first to prove they deserve a spot in nationals on Feb. 18. The first crew of the two is Jungle Boogie representing Georgia. Omarion was impressed and liked the wrestling-looking movie but said it was a tiny clumsy. Lil’ Mama said it kind of got loose towards the finish. JC Chasez loved the energy level.

Swagger Crew, also from Georgia, had to show the judges they do have swagger and everything else it takes to make it to nationals. JC Chasez thought the first half was slow but said it went “to the sky” about halfway through the process. Omarion said it looked like the movement was trained and he wants to feel more passion. Lil’ Mama told them the choreography needs to go perfectly with the music.

Another New york crew, X-Treme Motion, was up next. Lil’ Mama said their excitement caused them to come out of character a tiny. JC Chasez thought it was a fun process that built up in the middle but the ending was generic. Omarion enjoyed it (a tiny much) but said they require to focus on their energy more.

After the judges saw what the South had to offer, they had a hard decision to make: Who goes to nationals?

Royal Flush from Georgia was up to finish off the night. Lil’ Mama thought there was a lot going on and he wants to see more choreography. Omarion said the card idea at the finish was corny and they could’ve come up with something more creative. JC Chasez actually liked the process and appreciated all they did up on stage.

Erica Rhodes Barney Goes To American Idol

Erica Rhodes Barney Goes To American Idol on Hot Topics -- Who does not know Erica Rhodes??? Erica Rhodes, who was a proud "Barney & Friends" kid in her youth but took her turn in front of the judges wearing a dominatrix get-up and working a dino whip to accompany her gutsy rendition of En Vogue's "Free Your Mind."

Amazingly, the 1999 "Barney" gig was not just Erica's big break, it was her only one. At least until now. According to her IMDB resume, other than a glorified extra role in the 2009 indie film "Going Home," Erica's showbiz experience is in the dance world. She trained at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and was a member of the now defunct Dallas Desperados. She also studied broadcast journalism at Dallas' Southern Methodist University, so there's plenty to fall back on, not that Erica will need to.

Air America Going Bankrupt !!!!!

Air America Going Bankrupt !!!!! on Hot Topics -- Suffering on air in US for a long time can not make assure a company will stand on the storm. Did you know Air America???? Are you the one of Air America???. Charlie Kireker -the chairman of Air America Media- said in a statement that the company would file under Chapter 7 bankruptcy “to carry out an orderly winding-down of the business.” Air America abruptly shut down on Thursday, bowing to what it called a “very difficult economic environment.”

Then Mr Kireker said In a troubled time for advertising-driven media businesses, “our painstaking search for new investors has come close several times right up into this week but ultimately fell short of success,”

The closing did not come as a surprise. Air America, which began six years ago and has 100 affiliated stations, cycled through a number of owners and never found its financial footing. It first filed for bankruptcy protection in 2006 but managed to stay on the air.

“The fact of the matter was, it was always a very challenging business proposition, and it never had the right management,” said Sam Seder, who hosted programs on Air America until last year.

Although it lacked a substantial audience, the network catapulted a number of progressive media personalities into stardom, most notably Rachel Maddow, who now anchors a prime-time program on the cable news channel MSNBC.

Mr. Kireker noted in his statement that advertising revenue in the radio industry had fallen for several years now. “Signs of improvement have consisted of hoping things will be less bad,” he said, adding that “our company cannot escape the laws of economics.”

Air America started to play rerun programming rather suddenly Thursday evening. The company said it would sign off completely next Monday night.

Scott Brown Acceptance Speech On Hot Topics

Scott Brown Acceptance Speech On Hot Topics -- Hot Topics mania as you now today, Scott Brown win Senate election on Massachusett. Here is the Scott Brown Acceptance Speech that I get from Blast is Boston's Online Magazine.

Here are Scott Brown’s official remarks delivered after his victory tonight over Martha Coakley — though he did get off topic a few times, most notably when he declared that his two daughters were “available.”

Thank you very much. I’ll bet they can hear all this cheering down in Washington, D.C.

And I hope they’re paying close attention, because tonight the independent voice of Massachusetts has spoken.

From the Berkshires to Boston, from Springfield to Cape Cod, the voters of this Commonwealth defied the odds and the experts. And tonight, the independent majority has delivered a great victory.

I thank the people of Massachusetts for electing me as your next United States senator.

Every day I hold this office, I will give all that is in me to serve you well and make you proud.

Most of all, I will remember that while the honor is mine, this Senate seat belongs to no one person and no political party – and as I have said before, and you said loud and clear today, it is the people’s seat.

Interim Senator Paul Kirk has completed his work as a senator by appointment of the governor, and for the work he has done, I thank him. The people, by their votes, have now filled the office themselves, and I am ready to go to Washington without delay.

I also want to thank Martha Coakley for her call of congratulations. A hard contest is now behind us, and now we must come together as a Commonwealth.

This special election came about because we lost someone very dear to Massachusetts, and to America. Senator Ted Kennedy was a tireless and big-hearted public servant, and for most of my lifetime was a force like no other in this state. His name will always command the affection and respect by the people of Massachusetts, and the same goes for his wife Vicki. There’s no replacing a man like that, but tonight I honor his memory, and I pledge my very best to be a worthy successor.

I said at the very beginning, when I sat down at the dinner table with my family, that win or lose we would run a race which would make us all proud. I kept my word and we ran a clean, issues oriented, upbeat campaign – and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.

When I first started running, I asked for a lot of help, because I knew it was going to be me against the machine. I was wrong, it was all of us against the machine. And after tonight we have shown everyone that – now – you are the machine.

I’m glad my mom and dad, brothers, sisters, and so many family members are here tonight.

Once again, before I go any further, I want to introduce somebody very special… That is my wife, Gail.

And as you know, my wife Gail couldn’t join me on the campaign trail because of her work as a Boston TV journalist. But I will let you in on a little secret. She didn’t stay neutral today, and she voted for the winner. I rely as always, on Gail’s love and support and that of our beautiful daughters.

Arianna will be returning a day or two late to her pre-med studies at Syracuse, because she’s been giving her all to this campaign. As always, Arianna and her sister Ayla have been a joy to Gail and me, and we’re so grateful to them both. Even before her campaign performances, millions of Americans had already heard Ayla’s amazing voice on “American Idol.” As Boston College basketball fans know, she’s also pretty good on the court.

If the President thinks they’ve got basketball talent at the White House, I ask him to pick his best teammate and find some time to play two-on-two with Ayla and me.

I’m grateful to all those from across Massachusetts who came through for me even when I was a long shot. I especially thank a friend who was there with encouragement from the very beginning, and helped show us the way to victory – former Governor Mitt Romney.

I’ll never forget the help of another man who took the time to meet with me months ago – who told me I could win, and gave me confidence for the fight. It was all so characteristic of a truly great and heroic American, and tonight I thank my new colleague, Senator John McCain.

On a night like this, when so many people mark your name on a statewide ballot, you think back to the first people who gave you a chance and believed. For the trust they placed in me, and for all they have taught me, I thank my neighbors and friends in my Senate district and especially my hometown of Wrentham. The cause and victory that all America has seen tonight started right there with all of you.

Let me tell you when I first got the feeling something big was happening in this campaign. It was when I was driving along and spotted a handmade, Scott Brown yard sign that I hadn’t actually put there myself.

This little campaign of ours was destined for greater things than any of us knew, and the message went far beyond the name on the sign.

It all started with me, my truck, and a few dedicated volunteers. It ended with Air Force One making an emergency run to Logan. I didn’t mind when President Obama came here and criticized me – that happens in campaigns. But when he criticized my truck, that’s where I draw the line.

We had the machine scared and scrambling, and for them it is just the beginning of an election year filled with surprises. They will be challenged again and again across this country. When there’s trouble in Massachusetts, there’s trouble everywhere – and now they know it.

In every corner of our state, I met with people, looked them in the eye, shook their hand, and asked them for their vote. I didn’t worry about their party affiliation, and they didn’t worry about mine. It was simply shared conviction that brought us all together.

One thing is clear, voters do not want the trillion-dollar health care bill that is being forced on the American people.

This bill is not being debated openly and fairly. It will raise taxes, hurt Medicare, destroy jobs, and run our nation deeper into debt. It is not in the interest of our state or country – we can do better.

When in Washington, I will work in the Senate with Democrats and Republicans to reform health care in an open and honest way. No more closed-door meetings or back room deals by an out of touch party leadership. No more hiding costs, concealing taxes, collaborating with special interests, and leaving more trillions in debt for our children to pay.

In health care, we need to start fresh, work together, and do the job right. Once again, we can do better.

I will work in the Senate to put government back on the side of people who create jobs, and the millions of people who need jobs – and as President John F. Kennedy taught us, that starts with an across the board tax cut for individuals and businesses that will create jobs and stimulate the economy. It’s that simple!

I will work in the Senate to defend our nation’s interests and to keep our military second to none. As a lieutenant colonel and 30-year member of the Army National Guard, I will keep faith with all who serve, and get our veterans all the benefits they deserve.

And let me say this, with respect to those who wish to harm us, I believe that our Constitution and laws exist to protect this nation – they do not grant rights and privileges to enemies in wartime. In dealing with terrorists, our tax dollars should pay for weapons to stop them, not lawyers to defend them.

Raising taxes, taking over our health care, and giving new rights to terrorists is the wrong agenda for our country. What I’ve heard again and again on the campaign trail, is that our political leaders have grown aloof from the people, impatient with dissent, and comfortable in the back room making deals. And we can do better.

They thought you were on board with all of their ambitions. They thought they owned your vote. They thought they couldn’t lose. But tonight, you and you and you have set them straight.

Across this country, we are united by basic convictions that need only to be clearly stated to win a majority. If anyone still doubts that, in the election season just beginning, let them look to Massachusetts.

Fellow citizens, what happened in this election can happen all over America. We are witnesses, you and I, to the truth that ideals, hard work, and strength of heart can overcome any political machine. We ran a campaign never to be forgotten, and led a cause that deserved and received all that we could give it.

And now, because of your independence, and your trust, I will hold for a time the seat once filled by patriots from John Quincy Adams to John F. Kennedy and his brother Ted. As I proudly take up the duty you have given me, I promise to do my best for Massachusetts and America every time the roll is called.

I go to Washington as the representative of no faction or interest, answering only to my conscience and to the people. I’ve got a lot to learn in the Senate, but I know who I am and I know who I serve.

I’m Scott Brown,

I’m from Wrentham,

I drive a truck, and I am nobody’s senator but yours.

Thank you very much.

Renee Walker 24 Seasons 8 on Hot Topics

Renee Walker 24 Seasons 8 on Hot Topics -- Have you seen Annie Wersching as FBI Agent Renee Walker on TV series 24 ???. If you the one of fans Annie Wersching as FBI Agent Renee Walker on TV series 24, you must see his performance on Seasons 8. The red hair, blue eyes, and freckles. Her character seems to be in a very dark place now. It is unusual to see her act more ruthless than Jack. I will be closely watching how her relationship with Jack develops. It should be interesting.

The second part of “24’s” four-hour, two-night premiere of day 8 has aired, and the storylines are coming at us speedy and angry, capped off by the on-air return of a definite badass redhead from Day 7 we’ve come to know and love. More on her in due time, but let’s pick up where they left off at the finish of Hour Two…

The creepy dude they now know as Davros has convinced his now-ex cop buddy to call in the shift change, enabling Davros to be in prime position to assassinate President Hassan (a bullet wound to your wife’s leg has a way of being an effective motivator). But they doesn’t hold up his finish of the bargain, killing the both of them. Bad guys, am I right? Meanwhile, Jack’s closing in on Davros, cuts through a basketball court, where he’s confronted by a group of street ballers (who obviously have seldom watched an episode of “24,” otherwise they wouldn’t step to Jack like they do). More evidence of how Jack has changed: in lieu of scrambling the dudes all over the court, they offers six of them a C-note and shows him Davros’ picture. The guy dimes on Davros, pointing to the cop’s house. Jack goes inside, finds the six dead bodies, but is caught in a bad situation when Officer Lunkhead (not his real name, but I calls it like I see it), a hard, bullheaded cop, arrives on the scene, sees his buddy gunned down. Jack tries to escape the situation, but Lunkhead tasers him.

Back to Jack. Officer Lunkhead, convinced Jack is a cop killer, roughs him up despite the protestations of his much more sensible partner, Officer Wu. Absorbing the beating only as they can, Jack finally strikes back. Wu diffuses the situation in time, and Jack re-states his case about Davros. Wu comes around to Jack’s side to the shock of his partner.

Back at CTU, Dana’s got her team working on the encrypted file found on Meredith’s computer. She’s cold and quiet about the work, until she’s told that a Kevin Wade is here to see her. Rattled, they leaves her post to see him outside, taking off her engagement ring as they goes. Kevin, a scuzzball of the highest order, calls Dana “Jenny Scott”, and has such a hold on her, they gives him her key so they can crash at her place for the night. While Dana’s letting her distractions get to her, Chloe and Hastings continue to butt heads over Jack, whom she’s lost contact with. Hastings bluntly tells Chloe to shape up speedy or she’s toast.

Jack, racing to the U.N. building, puts six and six together, knows that the evac is an elaborate setup. They tells Cole, who quickly races to intercept Hassan’s SUV before it goes boom. Indeed, they does so, but when Davros detonates the bomb, Cole’s automobile takes the hit! As a horrified Dana, watching from CTU, sees her man possibly blown to bits, Hour Five is up.

At CTU, Hastings’ interrogation of Meredith Reed culminates in the reporter revealing her affair with President Hassan. Hastings’ instinct is not to believe her, but when they makes contact with Hassan, the Kamistan President quickly confirms the affair, showing himself to be a man of formidable personal honor. Simultaneously, the encryption is decoded, revealing a file depicting the presence of a bomb inside the U.N. building. Six time more, Chloe suspects that this is a deliberate misdirection, but Hastings acts by the book in lieu of gut instinct, orders the evacuation of the building. Cole Ortiz is the point person on site, and directs Hassan to a automobile. Farhad calls Davros, and arms the real bomb, which is planted underneath a manhole cover.

As Hour Six begins, Cole has indeed survived the explosion (did your think they were going to kill off Freddie Prinze, Jr. this speedy?), and barely starts regaining his bearings when they spots Davros trying to run away the scene and goes after him. Jack arrives in time to see this and takes off in the same direction.

Meanwhile, Farhad is in another SUV with Hassan’s wife and daughter, who are freaked and unsure whether Hassan survived. They gets a call from Davros, confirming their plan’s failure. They also warns that it won’t be long before the authorities finger Farhad as the inside man. Farhad abruptly exits the automobile, stabs a cop in the neck, then bolts like a bat out of hell, now outed in his duplicity.

As Cole pursues Davros, they receive a feeling that his experience level isn’t where it needs to be in situations like this. Sure , cunning Davros outmaneuvers him, and is about to kill him when Jack pops up and pumps lead in to the Russian, six time again saving the young agent’s life. As Jack checks the wounds on Davros’ back, they takes note of the ritualistic tattoos on his back. Jack takes pics of said tatts for CTU to decipher…

Meanwhile, President Taylor can stave off Weiss’ hectoring to get Hassan back to the negotiating table, developing a more serene rapport with him. The talks will start up again, after Hassan makes an appearance at CTU to talk to Hastings.

Indeed, CTU figures out the tattoos are identifiers for members of the Russian crime syndicate, but they could use an expert to decipher them with greater specificity. Hastings gets a brainstorm: they decides to bring in a person with knowledge of the Russian underworld…wait for it…ex FBI Agent Renee Walker! Five years ago, Renee was deep undercover in Russia, getting close to the power players. Chloe, who has been praised by Hastings for her correct instincts about the evac diversion last hour, reminds him that Renee is not in a nice place. Hastings knows all about that, but feels they can make her an offer they can’t refuse. Hastings calls Renee in, then goes to meet Hassan, who has agreed to come in and be debriefed about the Meredith Reed situation.

Meanwhile, Jack thinks that with Davros dead and the assassination plot foiled, his job is done. But then, an alarm from Medical goes off; it turns out that Davros’ body has traces of Uranium 245, the weapons-grade form. Then, Jack is told by Chloe that Renee is on the way to CTU. Jack reflects on how things ended between them, surmising that they probably won’t need to see him. They tells Chloe to keep his presence there a secret.

Hastings then deals with Hassan, who tells him that his brother Farhad had wanted to procure nuclear materials for some time. After getting reassurance from Hastings that they won’t reveal the affair to any other entity, Hassan asks to see Meredith, who has been released from custody. Though it’s clear the six have genuine feelings for each other, Hassan effectively ends things between them.

Chloe waits at the helipad as the copter lands. Renee steps out, looking fit, yet, around the eyes, they see that she’s…damaged. In the meeting with the analysts, Renee fills in details about the tattoos; they are markings of a powerful, so-far untouchable syndicate called Red Square. Real badasses, apparently. Hastings makes his pitch, offering Renee the chance to get her badge back. Renee refuses her elderly job, but agrees to return undercover; her reasons are not clear, but are motivated by something deeply personal.

Jack six time more thinks he’s gone, but when Chloe tells him that Renee designs to return undercover with the Russian syndicate, Jack goes in and sees her. Their “reunion” is fraught with tension, then Renee goes off when Jack says she’s not ready to return to work. Renee is hell-bent on doing this. As the final preps are made to establish Renee’s cover story, Jack impulsively horns in on the operation, positioning himself as part of her cover in lieu of Cole. Renee objects, but Hastings sides with Jack.

They pick things up with Farhad, who meets his Russian contacts at a restaurant. Farhad wants proof that they have the nuclear materials. The Russians show their proof, a man adversely effected by exposure to the radioactive materials.

After yet another scene of Dana/Jenny having to deal with the thorn in her side that is Kevin Wade, Jack and Renee are on the first leg of their assignment. They track six of Renee’s elderly contacts at a hardware store; Renee goes in while Jack stays in the automobile, only to find the man has a wrist monitor that will alert the police if they moves out of a little radius. No problem, thinks Renee, who uses her feminine wiles to maneuver the idiot’s hand in to a vice. Renee proceeds to use an electric saw to cut the man’s damn wrist off! Jack finally enters the store, spots the grisly deed and for the first time ever, he’s repelled by such a violent action. As Jack struggles with the monster they helped generate that is a clearly deranged Renee, Hour Six ticks to a close.

Dangerous Beautifully of American Samoa

Dangerous Beautifully of American Samoa on Hot Topics -- American Samoa is the small pacific island far away from Pacific. It is about 8,000 miles from California.

60 minutes, CBS program, went to American Samoa to find out why the territory with a population less than the capacity of average pro-football stadium to send more player to the NFL than any other area of the same size in the mainland USA. As it is seen the program, Somoa kids are 56 times more likely to play in the NFL than other American.

The reason behind Samoa kids are more likely to be draft is their large size and chores they perform in the daily activity such as cooking and cutting grass. The activities make them energetic and more atheletic for the game. The territory has sent about 10 NFL linemen who played Somoan high school ball including Cincinnati Bengal’s Dorriata Peko and Pittsburg Troy Polamalu.

The governor of American Samoa hopes talks to be held in Hawaii will enable residents of the U.S. territory to watch CBS programming live, instead of on a tape-delayed basis.

Gov. Togiola Tulafono says he hopes to have the issue resolved in time for American Samoans to watch the live telecast of the Super Bowl on Feb. 7.

To that end, Tulafono is to meet this coming week in Honolulu with officials of CBS affiliate KGMB to discuss the possibility of a live feed via an undersea fiber optic cable.

Haiti Relief Donates 1 Million Dolars

Haiti Relief Donates 1 Million Dolars on Hot Topics -- Wyclef Jean's Haiti relief efforts and Twitter-ing have raised over $1 million for earthquake victims. Wyclef Jean's organization used Twitter to promote Yele.org to bring forth awareness of what individuals could do to donate to the relief efforts.

Haiti was the victim of a horrific earthquake that happened on Tuesday January 12, 2010. In the poorest area of Carrefour, as plenty of as 90% of all structures were destroyed as a result of the disaster.

People are left homeless, and will be faced with new challenges when the rain returns to the area. Diseases, hunger, and crime will likely plague the area.

Humanitarian efforts are underway. Former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton are joining together to help with relief efforts. The Red Cross, UNICEF, and other organizations are organizing efforts and collecting donations for victims.

The USNS Comfort, a state-of-the-art medical ship is said to be heading out to help with those that are injured because of the shake. The ship is said to have some 1,000 hospital beds and has the facilities to handle even the most complex medical care. With plenty of trapped beneath buildings for days, you can only imagine how badly that relief is needed.

The longer it takes for humanitarian troops to get out to Haiti, the worse things are going to get. The country is known for its crime and now there's plenty of desperate people with literally nothing to lose.

The volume of traffic on Wyclef Jean's Yele Web-site was so great this morning, that the site crashed. It seems as if everyone is touched by the disasters and are looking for any way possible to help.

President Obama made an address and let the people of Haiti know that they would not be forgotten. Former Presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush (43) are teaming up to organize help. Bill Clinton is an Ambassador to Haiti as well.

The response to requests for donations has been so great, that over $1 million has been earned in a short span of time - this is how much money was donated to charity through text messaging for a whole year alone.

American Idols Goes To Atlanta

American Idols Goes To Atlanta on Hot Topics -- "Pants on the ground!"

Wednesday night's "American Idol" should only be recalled for two thing:

This was the cleverly devised climactic tune belted out by 62-year-old 'General' Larry Platt. The rap, which he claimed to have written himself, was accompanied by an impressively physical dance that had the man break dancing.

"I have a wicked feeling that song could be a hit," is all Simon could muster by the finish of it, adding, "I don't think this is the last we'll listen to from you."

Sadly, Platt's age automatically disqualified him - contestants cannot be older than 28 - which begged the query of why they let him in to the audition in the first place.

His one-of-a-kind number was reason .

"American Idol" producers played up the song so much, they had everyone singing and taking part. During a montage following Platt's audition, Randy Jackson could be seen dancing by his side, and other contestants outside where chanting its addictive chorus.

"Pants on the ground! Pants on the ground!"

The evening's Atlanta episode was peppered with a few other auditioners hoping for some "Idol" fame. Simultaneously, as is expected with these audition-themed episodes, several were clearly more interested in chasing that William Hung fame.

But among them were singers seeking real "American Idol" gold, and were invited to Hollywood, such as the guitar-garbed Holly Hardin, country-crooner Vanessa Wolfe, Keia Johnson and Brian Walker.

Next week, "American Idol" auditions wanna-be stars in Chicago.

Hardin's get up appeared to be an instant ticket out the door, but the 20-year-old's voice impressed the judges (all except Mary J. Earthquake on Haiti causing tsunami????

Earthquake on Haiti causing tsunami???? on Hot Topics -- It's caused extensive destroy & panic with the expected number of casualties to be potentially high.

An earthquake hit 10 miles southwest of the highly populated capital of Port-au-Prince, in Haiti.

There's also been five aftershocks measuring 5.5 & 5.9 magnitude, which followed after the initial shake within an hour. & according to David Wald, a seismologist more are to be expected.

There were also news reports that a giant hospital in the capital city has also collapsed, while also people left screaming in the streets full of rubble & destroy.

Mr Wald said, “The main issue here will probably be shaking.” “And this is an area that is vulnerable in terms of construction practice, & with a highly population density. There could be a high number of casualties.”

A Director of the Haitian Americans United for Progress in Queens, NY, Elsie St. Louis-Accilien, said that he's been able to reach the director of the Ofatma hospital, in Port-au-Prince.

Ms. St. Louis-Accelien said in a phone interview, “They are trapped inside,” “They were shaken, but they were relieved to be alive.”

He also spoke saying the director was saying there was “a lot of smoke, a lot of dust,” also that her phone had people calling non-stop. “People are calling me, chosen officials are calling, asking what they can do.”

Only since 2008, it's been hit by two severe hurricanes, Ike, Hanna & Gustav, which have killed a total of 800 people & left destroy of a billion dollars. This along with food riots, health crises & the near constant government instability & upheavals, have all taken their toll on the island.

Known as four if the poorest countries in the Western hemisphere, Haiti, has also been inundated with natural disasters, in recent history. In 2004, Haiti was hit by powerful Hurricane Jeanne, which killed 3,000 people & caused brilliant destruction. It is vulnerable to storm related disasters, due to it’s forests being chopped down to be used for fuel, leaving it with tiny protective cover.

According to Delores Clark, a spokeswoman from the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, the scientists were quickly conducting water level measurements & other analyses to decide if the shake has set off a tsunami in other neighbouring parts of the Caribbean.

Although there was tiny information about the extent of the destroy it is likely to be “catastrophic,” according to Raymond Joseph, in an interview to CNN, who is Haiti’s ambassador to the United States.

According to the National Geographic the city has around 2 million people.

It's been 250 years since a shake of that magnitude has hit the region, according to Mr Wald, the last most powerful to hit was a 6.7 magnitude in 1984.

Colt Mccoy Got Injury

Colt Mccoy Got Injury on Hot Topics -- So far, the loss of McCoy could be to blame for the beating that the Longhorns are taking against the Crimson Tide. A true freshman has taken over Colt McCoy, a one time Heisman Trophy nominee’s, spot – & things aren’t looking so hot.

Texas Longhorn quarterback Colt McCoy is back on the field, encouraging his team during their match against the Crimson Tide. Colt McCoy’s injury took place when they took a helmet to his throwing shoulder during the first one minutes of the game.

Alabama has taken footy by storm this year, & is even responsible for the meltdown of Tim Tebow – who was seen crying after Florida’s loss to Alabama at the SEC championship game.

Even though Colt McCoy’s injury wasn’t serious to send him to the hospital, he’s not going to play during the rest of the game. With a 13-0 record, the injury could cost his team their unbeaten streak.

So far, Colt McCoy’s x-rays are said to be negative, & that the shoulder injury could be a sprain. The trainers won’t let him back in the game, as they need to make sure that they confirm that the injury isn’t serious. After all, this young man has a possible NFL career to worry about!

For now, Colt McCoy’s injury doesn’t appear to be awful bad. Let’s hope it doesn’t have permanent repercussions for the promising young footy player.

OH MY GOD !!! Casey Johnson dead

OH MY GOD !!! Casey Johnson dead on Hot Topics -- Casey Johnson, 30 years old, was found dead in Los Angeles. Her cause of death is currently unknown, but Casey had a troubled past. Most recently she was arrested for grand theft and the alleged victim was reportedly her ex-girlfriend, Courtenay Semel.

Casey had adopted a little girl, Eva, from Kazakhstan two years ago but lost custody of her daughter due to erratic behavior. Her daughter was staying with her mother, Sale Johnson.
Her parents had recently cut off her trust fund, according to the New York Daily News, after she refused to get help for drug abuse.

MZ spoke to Tila Tequila who says that she had gotten into an argument with Casey last week and she left the house. She says that she tried contacting Casey on the 29th but her phone had been shut off since the 29th.

She last tweeted on December 29 at 1:13 AM.

Tila just updated her Twitter with the following message:

"Everyone please pray 4 my Wifey Casey Johnson," Tequila wrote. "She has passed away. Thank u for all ur love and support but I will be offline to be w/ family."'

According to People magazine, Los Angeles police and firefighters were called to a house at 11:51 a.m. on Monday. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.

"It appears to be a natural death," says police Officer Sara Faden. "There's no evidence of foul play. A toxicology report from the coroner's office will proceed next."

There's nothing "natural" about a 30 year old passing away. Casey's long history of drug abuse may have resulted in her death, but we won't know details until the toxicology report comes in.
