Ruth Bader Ginsburg Treated at Hospital on Hot Topics -- Ruth Bader Ginsburg who was born on Marc 15 1933 being treated at a Washington hospital after becoming ill at work. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States. Ginsburg was appointed by Democratic President Bill Clinton in 1993 and generally votes with the liberal wing of the court. She is the second female Justice — Sandra Day O'Connor was the first — and the first Jewish woman to serve on the Court.


Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who is 76, had been treated earlier in the day for an iron deficiency that was discovered last month. A statement from the court says Ginsburg was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
